I'm James and I capture the magic of live music, from the excitement and buzz just before the show starts to the music rumbling through your entire body as your favourite song comes on. As you have probably guessed I specialise in concert and event photography.

Music has always been a major influence in my life so when I'm not shooting shows you can often find me in the audience enjoying them or trying to play along to my favourite songs on the drums

Outside of shooting concerts and shows I like to be out and about exploring new towns and cities, while my primary focus is on concert photography and events, I also take pleasure in capturing landscapes and nature

I grew up in Keswick, Cumbria which is nestled in the Lake District national park, where unbeknown to my younger self I grew a deep love and affection for the mountains.  This lead me to spending over 10 years in the French Alps. Now I am settled back in the UK in Carlisle, Cumbria
